ChuckDancing and Found-Object Percussion,
6:30-7:30pm
 

Got hands? Got feet? Got Chuck’s? (Or other stiff-soled shoes) Got beat? Join us for an hour of improvisational ChuckDancing (basic tap rhythm-making in your Chuck’s) and Found-Object Percussion. No musical experience needed, but if you have it feel free to bring it on. you can bring an object you think might provide an interesting sound, but otherwise we will just pick up something in the space and jam with it. Bringing FUNday to Monday, we will meet EVERY OTHER Monday 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Day job keeping you away from co-working out of Gangplank during the day? Our weekly Hacknights are project time, an open house, jam space and brainstorming session all rolled into one. Hacknight is an opportunity to connect, share ideas and launch new ventures in the community. It’s a great time to come work on a side project or pursue a hobby.

Phoenix Freelancers Meetup: Budgeting for Entrepreneurs, 5:30 – 7pm

Retirement options are accessible to freelancers, and it’s never too late to start saving. We’re looking forward to discussing budgeting and retirement options and creating a plan to invest in our futures. At this Spark, we’ll discuss how to: Keep track of monthly or annual cash flow; Select a retirement option that fits your current situation and future saving goals; Ensure budgeting isn’t a burden but a blessing! (AKA let’s plan our next vacation).

Modfit Pilot Clinic at Gangplank Chandler

We are excited to announce the October 17th launch of the Modfit pilot clinic at Gangplank Chandler!  Modfit is a Chandler based startup building personalized clinics for today’s desk-bound workforce, and are equipped with the latest fitness technology to help you lose weight, alleviate stress, reduce pain, and power through you workday.  Recharge & refresh in a comfortable setting and refuel with a healthy beverage and snack.

This pilot clinic is open to the entire Gangplank community as well as your business associates, friends, or family.

Participants are asked to commit to THREE 15-minute sessions a week for 30 days starting the week of October 17th.  We will have an on-site coach MondayFriday from 1-5pm, and we have lots of goodies & giveaways for participants too!

This is a pilot clinic, so all we’re asking for is your honest feedback on how we can make our clinics better, and referrals to other business owners who might be interested in a clinic for their workspace.
