Gangplank has combined our collaborative atmosphere and connections within the entrepreneurial community to create our Mentoring Office Hours program. Meetings are by appointment only and are offered in 45-minute blocks. Dates are posted on the Gangplank Calendar and updated on the site. To reserve a spot or inquire about the program, email the Director of Operations.

Design Mentoring
Once you’ve got a product or a service, it needs to get noticed. Mentors in this speciality will advise on design for your business – where to start, how to hire a designer and tying it all together.
Legal Mentoring
Our lawyer mentors specialize in small business law and can provide advice on everything from incorporation to liability.
Finance Mentoring
If you’re looking for assistance on locating funding, you’ll want to meet with our Early Stage advisers. This area of specialty is reserved for companies looking to manage funding, determine compensation or advice on investor relations. We also have an accounting mentor available.
Technology Mentoring
It can be tough as a business owner to keep up-to-date on rapidly changing technology. We provide a safe place for you to ask all the questions you may be too embarrassed to ask and to better understand what helps your business operate. This mentoring track is also for technology professionals who may be looking for a sounding board – someone that speaks the language and can provide feedback on ideas.

Working in the arts is a tough gig – especially when you’re looking to make it your primary career. We have music and writing professionals ready to advise you on the markets, and provide honest feedback on your skills.
